Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
GamePoint is operated by AtHomesoft, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, join the waitlist or use the GamePoint app, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password. We store only a secure hash of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
- Waitlist sign-ups: your email address and, if you choose to give them, your name, your sport and the size of your events.
- Tournaments and teams: the tournaments you create (name, description, venue, city, dates, divisions and entry fee), team names, and the names of teammates a team captain adds to an entry. Organizers can record whether an entry has paid and add a short payment note.
- Games, groups and player profiles: the groups you create or join, games and their venues, whether you're in or out of a game, the sports you play and your skill level, and a home area you choose for finding games near you.
- Organization details: workspace names, the people you invite and their roles.
- Messages to us: anything you send when you email us.
Information collected automatically
- Sign-in information: when you sign in we record your IP address and browser type with your session, to keep your account secure.
- Error reports: when something breaks, we record technical details about the error. These reports can include the page you were on, your browser, and details of the request that failed.
- Website analytics: our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. It is not used for visitors in the European Union.
- Bot protection: the waitlist form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser and IP address to tell people from automated spam.
We do not ask for your device's precise location. Location search uses only the home area you type in.
How we use your information
- To create and run your account and provide GamePoint's features.
- To send emails you need: account verification, password resets, invitations, tournament updates and billing notices.
- To tell waitlist members when GamePoint opens. We will not send waitlist members other marketing without asking first.
- To process payments for paid features.
- To keep GamePoint secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
- To decide which features each account sees as we roll new features out.
- To meet our legal obligations.
What other people can see
- Tournament pages are public. Anyone with the link can see a tournament's name, description, venue, city, dates, divisions and remaining spots, and team names appear in the results of completed tournaments. Team rosters and payment details are not public.
- Other members of your groups and organizations can see your name and your activity there, such as games you've joined.
- Your player profile is visible according to the setting you choose: public (any signed-in user), your groups, or only you. Your home area is only ever visible to you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run GamePoint for us, under contracts that limit how they can use it:
- Railway hosts our servers and database in the United States.
- Cloudflare hosts our website and app, protects forms from spam with Turnstile, and provides website analytics.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Sentry receives error reports so we can fix bugs.
- LaunchDarkly helps us roll features out gradually. It receives an account identifier, your role and plan, and the domain of your email address, never the full address.
- Mapbox turns place names into map locations and draws venue maps. It receives the place you search for and venue coordinates.
- Google handles Google sign-in if you choose it, and serves fonts used in the app.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Cookies and similar technology
The GamePoint app uses a small number of essential cookies: one keeps you signed in, and one remembers which organization you're working in. It also stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser. Our website sets no cookies of its own, though Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie needed for spam protection. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. Waitlist sign-ups are kept until GamePoint opens to you or you ask us to remove them. Records of important account actions are kept for security and may be kept after an account is closed. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, apart from what we must keep for legal, tax or security reasons. Copies in backups are removed as those backups expire.
Your choices and rights
You can update your name, profile and sport details in the app at any time. You can also ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Emailhello@gamepointapp.com from the address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days. You won't be treated differently for using these rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information and to complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing GamePoint, and, where we ask for it, your consent.
Children
You must be at least 13 to create a GamePoint account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Organizers and team captains may list a youth player by name only with the permission of that player's parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, or a child's name was added without permission, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and separation between organizations' data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else.
International visitors
GamePoint is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there and wherever our service providers operate. Laws there may differ from those where you live.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we'll tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
